Theofanis Gekas scored a hat-trick in that game, while the other two goals were scored by Angelos Basinas and Ioannis Amanatidis. The win was academic as Greece had already qualified.
Greece coach Otto Rehhagel has named Panathinaikos FC striker Evangelos Mantzios in his squad, who returns after having last appeared in the 1-0 defeat by Korea in February. Olympiacos CFP defender Paraskevas Antzas is battling a thigh injury, while FC Nürnberg striker Angelos Charistea is out with ankle problems.
