After a vital win in their opening group match against Haiti, Honduras slumped to a disappointing defeat to United States, leaving themselves with some work to do in order to qualify for the quarter finals.

The Los Catrachos put up a strong performance against the defending champions, managing to hold out for 75 minutes but goals from Santino Quaranta and Brian Ching saw United States secure a comfortable win in the end.

Coach Reinaldo Rueda admitted that his side was made to pay for some mistakes late in the game adding that they will have to avoid making costly mistakes if they are to put up a strong showing in the competition.

Meanwhile Grenada will be hoping to bow out of the competition on a high note. Two defeats in their opening two matches has all but confirmed Grenada's elimination and only a high scoring win over Honduras could see them progress to the next round.

However with his side struggling to hit the back of the net, Coach Tommy Taylor will be satisfied if Grenada can secure at least a point from their final game. The Spice Boys followed up on their thrashing by United States with yet another poor showing as Haiti secured a comfortable 2-0 win in their last match.

Fabrice Noel and James Marcelin were on target for les Grenadiers with Noel giving Haiti the lead with a luck deflection from a free kick while a defensive error by Grenada captain Anthony Modeste allowed Marcelin to double the lead with just 11 minutes remaining on the clock.
