However the sale of Craig Bellamy to Manchester City is bound to affect the fortune of the Hammers who are looking at available alternatives. Kieron Dyer made a comeback in the game against Barnsley and is likely to feature again.

 

 

Dean Ashton and Danny Gabbidon continue to be sidelined with ankle and groin injuries respectively. Despite the injury worries, West Ham should progress to the next round simply because their strength in depth is greater than that of their League One rivals.
