Celtic dropped into the UEFA Europa League after Arsenal proved to be too strong for them in the Champions League. German giants HSV and Aston Villa conquerors Rapid Vienna are the other two sides in the group, and the Bhoys will certainly not want to start with a loss.

Striker Marc-Antoine Fortune will miss this game because of a knee injury. Celtic were held to a 1-1 draw by Dundee United in their weekend SPL fixture. Scott McDonald cancelled out David Goodwillie’s early strike for United, but Craig Levein’s side managed to hold their own at Parkhead.
