Defending champions Greece have already been shown the exit door in this year's Euro after falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Russia. Konstantin Zyryanov was the lone goal scorer for the Russians in what was a tense tie.
Greece goalkeeper Antonis Nikopolidis was the culprit on this occasion as he chose to follow the ball all the way to the touchline. Russia captain Sergei Semak was on hand to foil his bid and simply lobbed the ball over to Zyryanov who tapped it into the net.
Greece coach Otto Rehhagel was despondent but said his side could bounce back strongly in future tournaments.

Spain put in a masterful performance against Sweden to beat them 1-2 and seal their place in the Euro 2008 quarterfinals as well. Fernando Torres had given the Group D leaders a 15th-minute lead, but Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic had nullified that lead in the 34th minute. However David Villa stole the game for Spain in the second minute of added time with a stunning effort that ended up in the back of the net.
Spain look likely to end up Group D winners and may be squared up against either France, Italy or Romania in the quarterfinals.
