Sevilla on the other hand will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss away to Athletico Bilbao in their last live Primera Liga clash. Goals from Fran Yeste and Markel Susaeta ensured Bilbao triumphed against a 10-man Sevilla at the San Mames Stadium.

Sevilla defender Julien Escude was dismissed in the 58th minute and Bilbao took full advantage of this. The club will still be without the services of Frederic Kanoute, Seydou Keita and Arouna Kone, who have left for the African Nations Cup. Aleksander Kerzhakov missed the last game due to injury and is a doubtful starter for this clash as well.

Manager Manolo Jimenez is aware his side need to pull up their socks in order to rise from the 8th spot on the La Liga table. Sevilla have 26 points from 19 games played so far.
