Getafe will be on a high as they welcome Barcelona to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez this weekend following their 2-0 win away at Osasuna in their last la Liga encounter. The win meant Getafe were able to get off the danger zone and are now comfortably placed in the middle of the Spanish Premira Liga.

Getafe have recovered nicely after suffering a 2-0 loss to Racing Santander. They beat Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in their next match and followed it up with a win by the same margin at Osasuna.

However the side is plagued by injuries which make it a tough proposition for them to challenge the might of the Catalans. Contra and Hernandez Dominguez are out indefinitely with undisclosed injuries as is Signorino. Nevertheless Getafe will be hoping to come away unscathed against Barcelona. Getafe are currently 15th on the La Liga table with 11 points from as many games.

Barcelona on the other hand have recovered from a horrible start to their La Liga season. They were held to a 0-0 draw in their opener against osasuna, but since then have shown impressive form in both the La Liga as well as the UEFA Champions League.

Lionel Messi has been the undisputed star with 7 goals in La Liga so far. Barca comfortably beat Real Betis 3-0 in their last outing to erase memories of a disappointing 0-0 draw at Valladolid. Even Barcelona are struggling with injuries. Deco has a ruptured muscle in his thigh and will be out for five weeks, while Samuel Eto'o is expected to miss much of the season following his thigh surgery in early September.
