Germany are sitting pretty on top of Group 4 with 19 points from seven games played so far. A win against Azerbaijan next week with ensure qualification for the World Cup 2010. Germany coach Joachim Low will look to try out his goalkeepers Rene Adler and Robert Enke in these two games to judge who will be retained on a more permanent basis.

Low has said that he will be choosing a regular goalkeeper from a pool of four that includes Robert Enke, Tim Wiese, Rene Adler and Manuel Neuer.

The German boss has also called up Marko Marin and Andreas Beck, while Simon Rolfes and Lukas Podolski are back after recovering from their respective injuries. Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil, who starred in the under-21 Euro Championships, have also found places in the squad.

Meanwhile Bafana Bafana coach Joel Santana has called up several young players in the lead up to this match. Genk defender Anele Ngongca has been called up for the first time, but there is no place for Nasief Morris and Benni McCarthy. South Africa will face Ireland in another friendly next week.
