Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini will hope his side recover quickly from the defeat and push Juventus in their home game. Ivan Juric misses this game with injury, while Criscito serves the second of his two-match ban in this game. Meanwhile Juventus have a 100% record to maintain in this game. The Bianconeri are one of the two teams to boast a perfect start to the season; the other being Sampdoria.

Last week, Juve beat Livorno 2-0 thanks to goals from Vincenzo Iaquinta and Claudio Marchisio. Manager Ciro Ferra will hope his team can build on recent results as they attempt to wrest the Scudetto from Inter this season. For this game, Fabio Cannavaro, Tiago and Felipe Melo continue to be sidelined with injuries.
