Former European champions Galatasaray host little known FC Tobol this Thursday in the second leg of their Europa league second qualifying round tie. Watch live Europa League qualifying with free football tv, the best place for European soccer streams.

Galatasaray drew the first leg 1-1 in Kazakhstan. Skipper Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev gave FC Tobol a shock second minute lead, which they held till the end of the first half. Galatasaray equalised in the second half through substitute Milan Baros. The Czech striker came on at half time for Semih Senturk.

It was new Galatasaray coach Frank Riijkard's first match in charge of the Turkish giants. The former Barcelona manager would have preferred a winning start, but would have been reasonably satisfied with the result after his team played with 10 men for the last twenty minutes of the game. Alparslan Erdem is suspended for the return leg in Istanbul.

Tobol would have been very happy with the result, given their lack of experience in European competition. The Kazakh side now have a real chance of upsetting Galatasaray and setting right their disappointing European record. In the last three seasons, Tobol were narrowly beaten by Basel, Dyskobolia Grodzisk and Austria Vienna respectively.

The winner of this tie will meet either Sliema Rovers (Malta) or Israeli side Maccabi Netanya in the third qualifying round. The likes of Zhumaskaliyev, Ruslan Baltiev and Andrei Kharabara will have to be at their best if Tobol are to get the result they want at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium.
