The Cottagers provided one of the shocks of the tournament in the previous round, upsetting mighty Juventus 5-4 on aggregate. However since that magical night, Fulham have lost all of their last three domestic fixtures. Skipper Danny Murphy and Jonathan Greening are both available for selection after serving their respective suspensions.

Wolfsburg needed extra time to beat Russian champions Rubin Kazan in the Round of 16. Christian Gentner netted the winner in the 119^th minute of the return leg at the Volkswagen Arena to send the Wolves into the last eight in their maiden Europa League campaign.
