Fulham did just enough to qualify from a tough group that included AS Roma, Swiss giants Basel and Bulgarian powerhouse CSKA Sofia. The Cottagers also crushed Notts County 4-0 on Sunday to move into the quarterfinals of the FA Cup. Goals from Simon Davies, Bobby Zamora, Damien Duffa and Okaka Chuka gave the London outfit a comfortable win.

Shakhtar breezed through Group J, scoring fourteen times and conceding only thrice to finish as winners ahead of Brugge, Toulouse and Partizan Belgrade. It included 4-1 and 4-2 wins away from home and a stylish 4-0 demolition of Toulouse at home. Fulham will have to be wary of the threat posed by Shakhtar’s Brazilian contingent. The quartet of Luiz Adriano, Fernandinho, Wilian and Jadson were instrumental in helping Shakhtar lift the UEFA Cup last season.
