While City are just two points behind fourth placed Tottenham and have a game in hand, they have struggled for form in their recent games, managing to win just one of their last five games. City failed to build on their excellent performance against Chelsea and were lucky to come away with a point against Sunderland last weekend.

Meanwhile Fulham will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeats in their last two games and consolidate their place inside the top half. The Cottagers suffered a 3-1 loss to Juventus in the Europa League before slumping to a 3-0 defeat against Manchester United last weekend.

With his side still in contention for a place in the FA Cup semi finals, coach Roy Hodgson will be hopeful that his side will prepare themselves for the game in a perfect fashion by beating City this weekend.
