Blackburn Rovers will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Manchester United and return back to their winning ways when they play Fulham in their next Premiership tie on Sunday.

Blackburn had won four of their last five matches before succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United. The defeat leaves Mark Hughes' side 7th in the league table with 22 points from 12 matches.

With the season nearing its midpoint, Hughes will be looking to pull his team out of a mini slump and maintain their good position to achieve a third successive season of European qualification come the end of the season.

Robbie Savage and Jason Roberts should be available for selection after recovering from their knee and thigh injuries respectively.

Meanwhile Fulham will be hoping to find strength from their home advantage and spring a surprise over Blackburn on the weekend. Lawrie Sanchez's side have won just one game in their last five matches and the manager will be looking to overcome the poor form and push higher up the table.

Fulham have collected 12 points from their 13 matches and are sitting 13th in the league table, four points away from the drop zone. With more than quarter of his team out injured, Sanchez will be relieved that a number of his players have made steady recovery and should be ready for the match against Blackburn.

Blackburn were held to a 1-1 draw in this fixture last season and Sanchez will be delighted if his team manages to avoid defeat yet again.
