He has recalled Chelsea striker Florent Malouda for the first time October 2008 when he played as a substitute in a friendly match against Tunisia. Domenech has apparently been impressed by Malouda's recent performances for his club when he teamed up well with Nicolas Anelka. The France boss will hope the pair can produce similar performances for their country as well. Domenech also called up former skipper Patrick Vieira, who has not played many club matches this season due to a persistent knee injury. Vieira also missed the Euro 2008 and all the World Cup qualifiers played by France till date. ![]() Domenech will be without star striker Thierry Henry, who has a knee injury. Henry was not expected to play the Champions League final for Barcelona, but he shrugged off injury to do so. Meanwhile Nigeria will look to use the game to test out some of their fringe players. The team is currently second to Tunisia in the Group B of the World Cup qualifiers. Manager Shuaibu Amodu is in a precarious position after his side drew 1-1 against the Republic of Ireland in an international friendly over the weekend. ![]() Michael Enemaro had given Nigeria the lead on 30 minutes at Craven Cottage, but Robbie Keane ;leveled six minutes later to hold Nigeria. Amodu was criticized heavily for his side's draw against Mozambique and calls for his dismissal have gained strength.
