France take on Colombia in their next International friendly ahead of the Euro 2008 following a disappointing 0-0 draw against Paraguay. Catch all live footy action on Live Sport Network.

France coach Raymond Domenech would be worried ahead of the Euro 2008 soccer tournament because he has chosen to omit prolific scorer Juventus striker David Trezeguet from his squad. Les Blues will miss his firepower and Domenech will only hope his side does not pay a price for this.

France skipper Patrick Vieira missed that game due to injury and would need to prove his fitness ahead of this game. However Domenech would have been heartened by the display of Manchester United target Karim Benzema who struck the post barely 18 minutes after the start.

Paraguay gave a resilient performance and denied France although the latter came close once again with Franck Ribery shooting narrowly wide.

Colombia coach Jorge Luis Pinto will be no less worried, His team will now be looking ahead to the World Cup qualifiers, but they failed to give a good account of themselves in a friendly against Republic of Ireland going down 1-0 at Craven Cottage.

Republic goalkeeper Dean Kiely was in great form pulling of stunning saves to deny the slick footwork of his South American opponents. Macnelly Torres and Edixon Perea were in great form for Colombia, while Juan Carlos Escobar missed a golden chance to pull level.

Yulian Anchico and Freddy Grisales are injured and their places have been allotted to Stalin Motta and Jaime Castrillon. Pinto will be hoping to get the combination right before the South American World Cup qualifiers kick off.
