However the Italian club faces a tough ask with Rosenborg not tasting defeat in their previous six matches on Italian soil, drawing five and winning one game in the process. Fiorentian coach Cesare Prandelli is not taking anything for granted and will hope his side can finish off what they started in Norway last week.

New registrations for Rosenborg include Rune Almenning Jarstein, John Pelu and Vadim Demidov, while Fiorentina have brought in Vlada Avramov, Daniele Cacia and Alessandro Potenza.
