Fenerbahce coach Luis Aragones has had a baptism by fire as far as this European campaign is concerned. The club started off the season with a 1-3 loss away to Porto, but followed it up with a 0-0 draw against Dynamo Kyiv. On Matchday 3 they were trashed 2-5 by Arsenal, but bounced back to hold the Gunners to a 0-0 draw in their next game.

With just 2 points from 4 outings, Fenerbahce face a tough proposition of winning their last two games to ensure of a good finish in Group G. Fenerbahce made it to the quarter-finals of last season's UEFA Champions League, but that dream run is looking quite distant right now.

 

 

Meanwhile Porto revived their campaign with a 1-2 away win at Kyiv. Lucho scored with a volley two minutes into added time after Artem Milevskiy's 21st minute strike was nullified by Rolando in the 69th minute. With 6 points from 4 games, Porto could enhance their credentials for a spot in the next stages with a win here.

The club started with a 3-1 win over Fenerbahce, but this was followed by 0-4 and 0-1 losses to Arsenal and Dynamo Kyiv respectively. On Matchday 4, the side bounced back well and needs to continue in the same vein.

 

 

Jesualdo Ferreira's side will be looking for a second consecutive away success and will hope Dynamo fail at Arsenal so as to book their passage for the next round.
