Fenerbahce had won all of their nine home games in the competition last season including against Inter Milan and Chelsea. The Turkish club started this season's European campaign with a 3-1 loss away to Porto with Lisandro, Lucho and Lino on target for the Portuguese club while Daniel Guiza scored a consolation goal for Fenerbahce.

The opening match defeat to Porto has meant that Fenerbahce will have to play catch up with Porto and Arsenal for the two qualification places and coach Luis Aragones will be aware that his side will have to maintain their superb home form if they are to have any hopes of making it to the knockout stages.

 

 

They take on a Dynamo Kiev side that will be high on confidence following their 1-1 draw against Arsenal in their first match. The Ukrainian side almost snatched an upset victory after leading 1-0 for much of the game but had to settle for a point after William Gallas scored a late equalizer for the visitors.

However coach Yuri Semin will be aware that his side will have to improve on their away form if they are to avoid finishing at the bottom of the group for a third straight season. Dynamo's last eight matches away from home have yielded just one draw and seven defeats and Semin will be hoping that he will be able to improve the record this season starting with a point against Fenerbahce on Tuesday.
