AC Milan will be looking to avenge their shock defeat to FC Zurich at San Siro and qualify to the knockout stage when the two teams meet in their final Champions League group stage game this Tuesday. The Swiss champions secured a shock result over Milan on Matchday 2 when a Hannu Tihinen goal early in the 10th minute handed them a famous win at San Siro. However it proved to be the only win for Zurich with three successive defeats consigning them to the foot of the table.

Though his side is out of contention for even the Europa League place, Zurich coach Bernard Challandes will be optimistic that his side can end their European campaign on a high. While another win for Zurich is unlikely, Challandes will be happy if his side can avoid a fourth successive defeat on Tuesday.

Milan on the other hand will be going all out for a victory that will see them book a place in the next round. The Italian side is currently one point ahead of Marseille and though they can progress to the next round if the Real Madrid secure all three points from their final game, coach Leonardo will be sending out his strongest team in order to maintain Milan’s excellent run of form.
