The Toffees are still in contention for a place in the Europa League next season but with his side five points behind arch rivals Liverpool, coach David Moyes will be aware that his side will have to win their remaining three games and hope that either of Liverpool or Aston Villa will slip up.

With their Premier League status assured this season and no hopes of breaking into the top seven, Hodgson has put the Europa League above the Premiership for the remainder of the season and will be looking to get his players fit before the second leg next week.

Simon Davies and Clint Dempsey are the two major doubts for Fulham with the duo yet to recover from their injuries while Johnny Heitinga could return for Everton after recovering from his ankle injury.
