Everton and Newcastle United face each other in the final match of their season knowing that a point for either team will be enough for them to hold on to their position in the Premiership table. Watch all live Premiership action on Live Sport Network.

In spite of a slump in recent weeks, Everton have managed to hold on to their fifth place in the league table and are three points ahead of Aston Villa. However a victory for Aston Villa coupled with a defeat against Newcastle for Everton would mean Villa would qualify for the UEFA Cup since they have a superior goal difference over Everton.

However manager David Moyes will be confident that his side can do the job and end the season on a bright note with a comfortable victory against Newcastle on the weekend. Moyes will be without James Vaughan and Tim Cahill who are both out injured and will be banking on Yakubu to provide the goals upfront.

Newcastle United on the other hand will be hoping to bounce back from their last week's defeat to Chelsea and finish the season one spot above from where they ended their last campaign. Newcastle's defeat to Chelsea put an end to any hopes of the club breaking into the top half of the table and will finish the season even if they manage to beat Everton on Sunday.

However a defeat on the final day coupled with a win for Wigan Athletic against Manchester United would see Newcastle slip to 13th in the league table with Steve Bruce's side enjoying a better goal difference.
