The Toffees have hit top gear since the turn of the year and after flirting with relegation early in the season, they are back in the frame to grab the final Europa League place come the end of the season. However manager David Moyes has played down talks of his side pipping arch rivals Liverpool to the seventh place, stating that he is taking just one game at a time and there is still a considerable gap to overcome.

Everton failed to continue their climb up the table as they threw away a two goal lead to settle for a 2-2 draw against Birmingham City. The Toffees will be without Landon Donovan with the US international returning to his club after the end of his loan spell though Tim Cahill and Louis Saha could be back in action.

Meanwhile Bolton Wanderers coach Owen Coyle will be expecting some consistency from his side as he looks to make most of the remaining 9 games of the season. With the relegation threat all but over, Coyle will now be looking to help his side climb closer to the top half of the table.
