Barcelona built on their victory over Real Madrid with another excellent performance against Deportivo LaCourna on Wednesday. Goals from Bojan, Pedro and Yaya Toure helped the Catalans secure a comfortable victory and remain in pole position to successfully defend their title.

Meanwhile Espanyol manager Mauricio Pochettino will be hopeful that his side can maintain their recent unbeaten run and collect at least a point against Barcelona on Saturday. The Periquitos have not tasted defeat in their last six games though Pochettino will be searching for a way to turn draws into victories as he looks to get Espanyol back into the top half of the league table.
