England will be looking to make it five wins on the trot when they take on Ukraine at the Wembley stadium in their next World Cup qualifier on Wednesday. Catch every minute of live soccer action from that game by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

The English team had a fine outing against Slovakia in a friendly game over the weekend trashing the visitors 4-0 with Wayne Rooney scoring a brace and Frank Lampard and Emile Heskey netting one apiece. Heskey in particular was delighted to break his international goal drought netting in his first goal in six years.

England manager Fabio Capello would have been pleased with his side's display especially after they went down to Spain in last month's friendly. However the Italian will be concerned with the various injuries picked up during the win over Slovakia. Heskey limped off after just 15 minutes with a hamstring injury and has pulled out of the Ukraine game. Carlton Cole replaced Heskey, but picked up a thigh injury and had to be replaced after 35 minutes.

Capello has called up Darren Bent to replace Cole, but is confident Peter Crouch will be available although he suffered an injury in the Slovakia game as well. Capello has ruled out calling up Michael Owen and Kevin Davies as cover and could choose to play Rooney as the lone striker in the game against Ukraine. Rio Ferdinand, who missed the Slovakia game due to a groin issue, should be fit for Wednesday.

Meanwhile Ukraine will hope to derail the English juggernaut on Wednesday as they seek to break into the top two in Group 6. Ukraine are currently third in the group with 7 points from three games. Coach Alexei Mikhailichenko has omitted Sergei Rebrov from the squad to take on England, but has chosen to go with Anatoliy Tymoschuk, who is being touted as the successor to Andriy Shevchenko.

Artem Kravets is out with injury with his place being taken up by Artem Milevskiy. The latter is expected to partner with Andrei Voronin in the strike department.
