All eyes will be on Theo Walcott this weekend when England welcome Kazakhstan in their next World Cup qualifiers with coach Fabio Capello warning his players to take each match as a final if they are to remain in the team. Watch live streaming football on Live Sport Network.

 

 

After a frustrating 2-0 win over Andorra in their first match, England turned on the style against Croatia in their next match as they rode high on Walcott's hat trick to beat their newest rivals 4-1. Capello will be expecting more of the same in their next two matches and will be keeping an eye on players who will be taking their opposition lightly.

Michael Owen once again finds no place in the national team with Capello stating that the crisis at Newcastle meant that England's top scorer will be low on confidence even though he has scored five goals in his last six games. Joe Cole is out of action with an injury and it remains to be seen whether Capello goes with Stewart Downing or Gareth Barry on the left flank or plays Theo Walcott in that position.

 

 

Steven Gerrad is back in the national squad after missing the last two matches with an injury. Peter Crouch and Shaun Wright-Phillips have been recalled to the squad but Capello is expected to go in with Rooney and Emile Heskey up front.

Kazakhstan fans will be hopeful that their team can avoid a thrashing and come away with their heads held high even if they fail to upset the odds and avoid defeat at Wembley. Disappointing defeats to Croatia and Ukraine saw Arno Pijpers sacked as the national coach with FC Almaty coach Bernd Storck appointed as the caretaker manager until a new coach is found.
