England are currently second in Group 9 with 11 points from 5 games played so far and trail Greece by two points although they have one game in hand.

For this game, manager Stuart Pearce has called up forward Victor Moses and Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso for the first time. Theo Walcott does not find a place in the squad as he has been called up for the senior squad. Micah Richards is also included in the squad, thus pouring cold water on his World Cup hopes. However Jack Rodwell, Lee Cattermole, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck are all back from injuries that saw them miss the 0-0 draw against Lithuania.

Meanwhile Greece will be hoping to take a giant stride towards the 2011 championship by beating England comprehensively.
