AS Roma are favorites to clinch qualification to the knockout stages when they play Dynamo Kiev in their next Champions League clash on Tuesday.

Roma need to win one of their remaining two matches or need just a point if Sporting CP fail to beat Manchester United in the other group match on Tuesday. The Italian club is currently sitting second in the Group F table with 7 points from 4 matches, three points more than third placed Sporting CP.

Anderson Polga's 90th-minute own goal in Roma's 2-2 draw against Sporting CP has put the Italian club on the verge of qualifying to the knockout stages. While Roma had managed to beat Sporting 2-1 in the first leg, the Portuguese club looked set to earn a well deserved victory in the return leg in Lisbon.

Sporting had done well to overturn Marco Cassetti's goal and take a 2-1 lead through a brace by Liedson. With seconds away from the final whistle, Roma were handed a life line when Polga deflected the ball into his own net to level the scoring and give the Italian club a three point lead in the group table.

Meanwhile Dynamo Kiev are yet to open their account in the group stage this season, losing all of their four matches so far. Kiev started the campaign with a 2-0 loss to Roma and followed it up with a 2-1 loss to Sporting CP. They Kiev defense was totally shattered by Manchester United attack with the club slamming home 8 goals in the double rubber.

Dynamo are yet to taste victory in their last 11 live Champions League games with the last victory coincidentally coming in the 2-0 victory over Roma in 2004.
