The Hoops have had a miserable season, failing to win any silverware. They sacked manager Tony Mowbray, but results have not improved significantly. The SPL title is now with fierce rivals Rangers, but manager Neil Lennon has promised fierce competition next season.

Last week, Celtic beat Hibernian 3-2 thanks to goals from Marc-Antoine Fortune, Robbie Keane and Morten Rasmussen, which nullified strikes from Derek Riordan and Anthony Stokes for the Hibs. The win took Celtic to 69 points from 34 games; 11 adrift of Rangers.

Meanwhile Dundee United look to have clinched the third spot in the league. They have 62 points from 34 games and will want to finish on a high as well. Last week they beat Motherwell 2-3 thanks to a brace from Jon Daly and a goal from Craig Conway, which nullified a brace from John Sutton. Manager Peter Houston will be delighted with his side's showing and will hope for more of the same on Sunday as well.
