Celtic suffered a disappointing defeat to Dinamo in the first leg with Aleksandr Kokorin scoring the only goal of the match early in the seventh minute. Marc-Antoine Fortune had a number of chances to restore parity but the Celtic striker was unable to convert them leaving manager Tony Mowbray with a defeat in his first match in charge of the Scottish giants.

Tony Mowbray should now perform a mini miracle in the second leg and help Celtic to a rare away victory on the European stage if they are to have any hopes of keeping their Champions League hopes alive.

While blaming lack of fitness for the below par performance, Mowbray expressed confidence that his side can come away from Russia with the required result. Celtic created a number of chances throughout the game and should they maintain their level of performance and prove to be more clinical up front, then the Scottish side could pull off an upset and progress to the next round.

Celtic will be boosted by the return of midfielder Scott Brown who has not played a competitive match since injuring his ankle back in June though Barry Robson is unavailable after suffering a setback in his recovery from a groin strain.
