Meanwhile Championship strugglers Derby County progressed through to the fifth round following a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest in the fourth round replay. The regular game ended in a 1-01 draw, which forced a replay. Forest quickly went two goals ahead after strikes from Chris Cohen and Nathan Tyson. The latter scored from the penalty spot after Stephen Bywater brought him down in the area. However Derby recovered through goals from Rob Hulse and Paul Green. Kris Commons put his former club out of the Cup with a goal in the 74th minute.

 

 

Derby boss Nigel Clough will hope his side can spring a surprise or two in this game especially if United are not at full strength.
