Meanwhile Deportivo La Coruna will be hoping to maintain their recent good form as they look to pull further away from the relegation zone. Depor have won four of their last seven matches, lifting themselves out of the drop zone and fans will be optimistic that their side will be able to maintain the form for the remainder of the season.

Deportivo snatched a point against Valencia last weekend after going 2-0 down early in the first half but goals from Sergio and Lafita ensured that Miguel Angel Lotina's side stretched their unbeaten run to three games.

Lotina will be hoping to continue his side's excellent home form against Madrid with Deportivo winning their last four matches at Estadio Riazor.
