The Danes are sitting pretty at the top of the group table, three points clear of Sweden and need just one win from their remaining two matches to book their place in the World Cup after missing out last time around. Coach Morten Olsen will be a bit concerned over Denmark's recent form that has seen them draw their last two games. While the Danes did a good job in avoiding defeat against Portugal, Olsen will be frustrated over his side's inability to secure all three points against lowly Albania.

After a quiet opening to the game, Nicklas Bendtner had given Denmark the lead five minutes before the half time whistle but Erjon Bogdani equalized in the 50th minute to secure a well deserved point for Albania.

Olsen has made two changes to the squad with Werder Bremen midfielder Daniel Jensen and Brondby striker Morten Rasmussen called up to the national squad. Soren Rieks will be unavailable for selection with the Esbjerg midfielder failing to prove his fitness for the games this weekend.

Meanwhile Sweden will be going all out for a victory that could see them inch closer to pulling off an upset in the group and book their place in the play-offs. Both Sweden and Denmark were expected to fight it out for the second place with Portugal favorites to finish at the top of the group.

However Carlos Queiroz's side have struggled in the qualifying campaign and with Denmark expected to qualify directly to the World Cup, Sweden coach Lars Lagerback will be hopeful of avoiding any slip ups so late in the campaign and progress to the play-offs.
