Morten Olsen’s Denmark will conclude their group engagements this Sunday when they take on Japan at the Royal Bakofeng Stadium in Rustenburg. See Denmark vs Japan and other World Cup live games by signing up with the Live Sport Network today.

Denmark qualified for the World Cup as winners of their group. However the Danes were not gifted an easy path to the World Cup. They had the likes of Portugal, Sweden and Hungary for company in Group A. They did just enough to finish on top with twenty one points, thereby forcing fancied Portugal to go through the lottery of the playoffs. Their only loss in the group came at home against Hungary.

This is Japan’s third and final game in Group E. The Samurai Blue have already played the Netherlands and Cameroon. Japan finished second in Group A in Asian qualifying behind Australia. Their only loss in Group A also came against the Socceroos in Melbourne.
