Czech Republic take on Scotland in their final friendly match on Friday at the Sparta Stadium before embarking on their Euro 2008 campaign starting from June 7.

Czech Republic go into the match after securing a comfortable 2-0 victory over Lithuania on Tuesday with Jan Koller hitting the back of the net on either side of half time. Coach Karel Brueckner will be pleased with the performance shown by his players with the team without two of its most creative players in Paul Nedved and Tomas Rosicky who will be missing the tournament.

Brueckner will be hoping that his side will come up with yet another impressive performance against Scotland on Friday before they take on Switzerland in the first game of their Euro 2008 campaign on June 7. Portugal and Turkey are the other two teams that make up Group A of the European championship.

Meanwhile Scotland manager George Burley will be hoping to build on his side's encouraging performance in his first match as the national manager against Croatia back in March when Scotland drew 1-1. Burley has called up three uncapped players for the friendly with Motherwell striker Ross McCormack getting the nod after a good season in the Scottish Premier League.

Other call ups include Hearts defender Christophe Berra and West Brom midfielder James Morrison. Captain Barry Ferguson is being rested for the friendly with the midfielder struggling from an ankle injury.

Burley sent out a warning for those players who have pulled out of the friendlies saying that those who will turn up for the friendlies will be preferred when the World Cup Qualifiers kick off in September.

The Scotland manager was forced to rethink his side when seven players had pulled out from the friendly against Croatia in March while four players, Alan Hutton, James McFadden and Rangers duo Steven Whittaker and Kevin Thomson, have pulled out with injuries.
