A nervy England travel to Zagreb to take on Croatia in their next World Cup qualifier this Wednesday. Watch all the international soccer live here on Live Sport Network.

Croatia made an expected winning start to their campaign overcoming Kazakhstan in Group 6 encounter on Saturday. Despite the media speculation surrounding the immediate future of the Croats boss Slaven Bilic, his side emerged 3-0 winners over the weekend.

 

 

Goals from Niko Kovac, Luka Modric and Mladen Petric gave Croatia all the points at stake in their first World Cup 2010 qualifier. Luka Modric, who has not quite settled down at Tottenham Hotspur, continued his fine from Euro 2008 and was particularly menacing in the midfield.

Croatia skipper Kovac was also on song troubling the Kazakh defense no end. The win means Croatia can make early inroads towards qualifying for the World Cup if they can clinch another two points against England.

 

 

On the other hand England were very nervy in their game against Andorra at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona. Manager Fabio Capello first competitive game in charge ended up in a win, but fans are worried about England's potential to upset their nemesis Croatia, who halted their march towards Euro 2008.

England were tepid in the first half and only a brace from Joe Cole in the second half gave them a 2-0 win. Capello, who omitted David Beckham from the starting line-up, will hope his side can deliver the goods on Wednesday.
