Costa Rica will look to recover from an upset loss to Honduras when they take on Mexico in San Jose over the weekend. You can watch all the live football from this game by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

The Ticos suffered a shock 4-0 defeat against Honduras earlier this month thanks to a brace from Carlos Costly and goals from Carlos Pavon and Melvin Valladares. Despite the loss, Costa Rica remain on top of the group with 12 points from six games played so far.

Alvaro Saborio and Bryan Ruiz will be pivotal for the Ticos in this game as will Walter Centeno and Armando Alonso. Another two wins will all but guarantee Costa Rica a ticket to South Africa.

Meanwhile Mexico kept their hopes of qualifying alive after beating the US 2-1 last month. Israel Castro and super-sub Miguel Sabah netted the goals for Mexico, while Charlie Davies was on target for the US.

Manager Javier Aguirre will hope his side can win at least two of their remaining four games so as to gain automatic qualification for the world cup.

Rafael Marquez continues to miss out with a leg injury as will Carlos Vela. The latter has been replaced by Nestor Calderon.
