Copenhagen lost two of their first three games in Group K, but qualified thanks to timely wins over Cluj and Sparta Prague. Senegalese forward Dame N’Doye scored four of FCK’s seven goals in the group stage. Stale Solbakken’s men are unbeaten in their last eight European home games.

Marseille have recorded victories in all their fixtures this month. They first edged out Toulouse to reach the finals of the League Cup and followed it up with a 5-1 thrashing of Valenciennes at home. Their last fixture was away at in form Monaco on Saturday and they won 2-1 against the Principality outfit thanks to a late own goal from Nicolas Nkoulou. Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze and Brazilian striker Brandao are suspended for Marseille’s visit to Denmark.
