Villa have not tasted defeat since losing out to Liverpool in December last year and with just eight games remaining in the season, Martin O’Neill’s side have a great chance of winning the race for the fourth spot and qualify for the Champions League.

Petr Cech should be available for selection after recovering from a calf injury but Michael Essien, Ashley Cole, Jose Bosingwa and Branislav Ivanovic are all out injured.
