The Bhoys played out a thrilling 4-4 draw against Aberdeen last weekend, but as a result they again fell behind Rangers by 10 points. Diomansy Kamara and Marc-Antoine Fortune scored for Celtic in the first half only for the Dons to cancel this thanks to goals from Michael Paton and Darren Mackie. Robbie Keane and Aiden McGeady put Celtic ahead by a 4-2 margin by 72 minutes, but a brace from Steve MacLean gave Aberdeen a deserved draw.

Meanwhile Dundee United maintained a push for a top three finish this season with a 1-2 win over St Mirren last weekend. Michael Higdon had put the home side ahead in the 66th minute, but late goals from Danny Swanson and David Goodwillie gave United a win and kept them on the fourth spot of the table with 42 points from 25 games.
