Burnley will be hoping to cause an upset when they welcome West Brom for their fourth round FA Cup replay on Tuesday after coming from behind in the regular fixture to force a rematch. Catch all the live streaming football from the game on Live Sport Network.
Burnley went into the lead in the 25th minute after Graham Alexander converted a penalty following an incident of pushing in the penalty area by Jonathan Greening on Robbie Blake. However a 25-yard volley from Robert Koren leveled matters in the 31st minute as the Baggies began to assert themselves in the game.
Just at the stroke of half-time Do-heon Kim's deflected free-kick was enough to give the home side a 2-1 lead. However Burnley kept pressing and that pressure brought just rewards for the Championship side when Martin Paterson was able to beat Thomas Sorensen with a shot from a low cross on 89 minutes.
The Clarets have had a fine time this season in the Cups and have already overcome Fulham, Chelsea and Arsenal in the League Cup before faltering against Tottenham in the semi-final.
Burnley are currently on the 8th position on the Championship table and manager Owen Coyle is confident they can challenge for a play-off place at the end of the season.
Meanwhile West Brom are struggling to stay afloat in the Premier League and it will be no surprise if manager Tony Mowbray elects to field a second string side for this fixture in order to keep his players fresh for bigger battles.
