A late winner by Peter Crouch in the 82nd minute helped Spurs secure a 1-0 win over Manchester City on Wednesday to pip the Eastlands club to the fourth spot with still a game to spare. Manager Harry Redknapp was delighted with his side’s performances and will be looking forward to playing Champions League football next season.

Though Spurs still have a small chance of finishing third and booking a place directly to the group stages, Redknapp said that he does not think that Arsenal will slip up against Fulham on Sunday and he is delighted by finishing just in the fourth place.

Meanwhile Burnley will be hoping to end the season with a good performance with the Clarets having nothing except pride to play for. Though manager Brian Laws has expressed interest in leading Burnley in the Championship, the 49-year old is expected to be replaced in the summer as the Clarets look for a successful promotion bid next season.
