The Clarets have struggled for form under new manager Brian Laws and need to start collecting points sooner rather than later in order to pull clear of the relegation zone. While Burnley are just two points away from safety, their recent form has left much to be desired.

Manager Tony Pulis will be keen to return back to winning ways and will be expecting a positive response from his team against a side that is struggling for form. Ryan Shawcross is suspended for the tie while doubts persist over the availability of Matthew Etherington and Danny Higginbotham.
