Owen Coyle has revealed that he is interested in taking over the vacant managerial post at Bolton Wanderers and currently the two clubs are in talks regarding a compensation package with reports suggesting that Burnley are asking for £3 million.

While Burnley revealed that both the clubs have delayed making a decision for at least another day, fans will be hopeful that should Coyle decide to go, the next manager will prove to be enough to help them avoid relegation and extend their stay in the Premier League for another year.

Burnley are without a win in their last nine games and after a good start to the season, the club finds itself 14th in the league table, just two points above the relegation zone. The Clarets suffered yet another disappointing away defeat as goals from James Vaughan and Steven Pienaar condemned them to a 2-0 defeat away to Everton.

Meanwhile Stoke City boss Tony Pulis will be hoping for a repeat of his side’s midweek performance that saw them secure a vital 3-2 win over Fulham. The Potters had taken a 3-0 lead at half time but Fulham almost managed to snatch a point with Clint Dempsey and Damien Duff reducing the lead to just one goal.

Pulis expressed his delight at the performance and with his side scheduled to face Liverpool and Manchester City in the next two games, the Stoke manager will be going all out for a win on Saturday
