City bounced back from their defeat against Everton with a 3-0 drubbing of Wigan Athletic last weekend. Carlos Tevez scored a late hat trick to help his side collect all three points from the game and remain just two points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the final Champions League spot.

Burnley on the other hand are increasingly becoming favorites to join Portsmouth in the Championship next season. The Clarets have been woeful under Brian Laws, winning just one of the 12 games under the 48-year old and have managed to collect just one point from their last eight games.

Though Burnley are just three points away from safety with six games remaining in the season, Laws will be aware that his side will have to put up a vastly improved performance if they are to overcome the deficit and climb out of the drop zone.
