Bolton’s match against Wigan Athletic was washed out last weekend due to bad weather which means that the Trotters have not played since their 3-1 win over West Ham on December 15. The win had provided some much needed relief for Megon and the Bolton manager will be hopeful that his side can maintain their good performance for at least the next two matches against Burnley and Hull City.

Meanwhile Burnley coach Owen Coyle will be hopeful that his side can bounce back from a poor run of results and return back to winning ways as he looks to consolidate on their good start to the season. The Clarets have managed just one win from their last 10 games and Coyle admitted that he wants to improve the squad in the January transfer window but lack of funds means that he will have to rely on loan signings.

Burnley suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Wolves in their last match with Nenad Milijas and Kevin Doyle or target for the hosts. Coyle admitted that the best team won, adding that his side will have to defend better if they are to have any chance of snapping out of their poor recent form.
