Italy will be looking to make it three wins in three matches when they visit Bulgaria in their next World Cup qualifier clash on Wednesday. Watch all the live international soccer here on Live Sport Network.

 

 

The Azzuri have got off to a good start in the defense of their World champions title, beating Cyprus and Georgia in their opening two qualifiers. However coach Marcello Lippi will be disappointed by his side's performances in the two matches, with Italy having had to rely on late goals to secure their victory.

The Italy coach is keen to improve his side's performances and has ringed changes to his squad including the omission of Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero. Lippi's hand has been forced following injuries to a number of players with Nicola Legrottaglie, Marco Materazzi, Marco Cassetti, Fabio Grosso, Andrea Pirlo, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Marco Borriello who are all out of action for some time.

 

 

Napoli players Fabiano Santacroce and Christian Maggio have been called up to the national squad for the first time while Udinese forward Simone Pepe has also been included. Italy take on Montenegro at home four days after their clash against Bulgaria and Lippi will be hoping for another six points from the next two matches.

Meanwhile Manchester City winger Martin Petrov has been included in the 20-man squad for Bulgaria by coach Plamen Markov. Bulgaria have played just one match in the last round of internationals with an injury time equalizer by Blagoy Georgiev helping them to a 2-2 draw against Montenegro.

 

 

Petrov's club team mate Valeri Bojinov misses out once again with an injury while Igor Tomasic will not be featuring for Bulgaria after announcing his retirement last week.
