Brazilian striker Jo cancelled out Klorian Duro’s opener, and then added another as City emerged 2-1 winners. Hughes is expected to shuffle his side and make several changes for the game against Brighton. Last season, City made it to the last eight before falling to Tottenham Hotspur. They beat Bristol City in the second round, Norwich in the third and Bolton in the fourth. The winner of this game faces Derby County in the third round.
