Five time world champions Brazil kickoff their Confederations Cup campaign on Monday when they take on African giants Egypt at the Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein. Watch Brazil live in the Confederations Cup by subscribing to watch footy online at free football tv.

Brazil are one of the favourites to win the Confederations Cup, along with Italy and Spain. The Selecao come into this game on the back of two successive World Cup qualifying wins over Paraguay and Uruguay. Brazil are also the defending Confederations Cup champions- they won the last edition of the tournament four years ago in Germany.

 

 

Dani Alves, Juan, Luis Fabiano and Kaka were on target in the 4-0 win over Uruguay, while Robinho and Nilmar were the scorers in the 2-1 win over Paraguay. Coach Dunga has not called up AC Milan playmaker Ronaldinho, while Anderson and Alex missed the bus to South Africa due to injury.

Egypt are playing their second Confederations Cup, and the Pharaohs certainly have the talent to spring a surprise or two in the tournament. They come into this game on the back of an embarassing 3-1 loss at the hands of Algeria in World Cup qualifying.

 

 

Egypt have problems in attack. Mido has not been included for disciplinary reasons, while Amr Zaki has a hamstring injury. Their defence has not looked too convincing either. Egypt have struggled to find a competent left back after the demise of Mohamed Abdelwahab. Central defender Wael Gomaa is not the imposing figure he once was. A lot will depend on the likes of Hosni Abd Rabo, Mohamed Aboutrika and Mohamed Zidan if Egypt are to do well.
