The five time World champions eased through the qualification process, losing just one match and booking their place in next year's tournament in style with a 3-1 thumping of arch rivals Argentina.

Luis Fabiano scored a brace for Brazil after Luisao had opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. Dunga expressed his delight at the result and attributed the win to squad discipline. However the Brazil coach is not expected to lower his guard against Chile with the first place at stake.

Chile were held to a hard fought 2-2 draw by Venezuela on Saturday with both the teams enjoying the lead for some time. Chile opened the scoring through Arturo Vidal early in the 11th minute but Venezuela struck back with goals from Giancarlos Maldonado and Jose Manuel Rey before Rodrigo Javier Millar restored parity in the second half.
